Our consultants sit on-site with our clients to act as their Talent Acquisition Partners. Our model combines the benefits of an internal recruiter coupled with those of an agency behind the scenes. An end-to-end recruitment service aimed at scaling funded businesses and delivering significant projects with enterprise clients. We work with tech startups & scale-ups as well as the tech and “growth” areas of larger businesses and have worked with the likes of SuperAwesome, Kpler, Unu, Epic Games and Holland & Barrett.

We're headquartered in Farringdon and London is a big market for us, however, we do have a global reach so there is an opportunity to travel and work internationally too.

The role

This role will lead a team of 4 to 6 consultants across multiple (or possibly a single) clients. It will also be a hands-on delivery role, advising the client on strategy and sourcing directly for our clients. We provide a range of talent advice, making the hires is just part of what we do (though a very important part, obviously). You'll be expected to have rounded experience across the recruitment lifecycle as well as experience in managing a high performing team and senior client relationships.


What are we looking for...

You will need to be able to motivate, organise and build a team. You must be comfortable taking decisions in the interest of the client and your team’s ability to deliver, ensuring excellent customer service – client retention is paramount.  You'll be well at ease with C-Level/Head Of stakeholder management/direct client contact - you'll have to push back sometimes, collaborate at others and offer solutions - saying no or just saying yes isn't going to cut it. You need to ensure you and your team operate as management consultants rather than as client employees (internal recruitment) or one of multiple recruiters. This requires product expertise, top customer service, communication skills and sound commerciality.

Working with product, SaaS, eCommerce and high-growth businesses, our Talent Acquisition Teams need to deliver on tech hires (Software Engineers, Product, Data, DevOps, Automation QA). You need to be adept at working on these types of roles and helping your team to successfully deliver on these as well.

You'll have an agency recruitment background and ideally (but not essentially) some in house experience as well.

We'd love it if you have worked with high-growth businesses within the tech or media space but any in depth sector experience is a plus. (Though not required, if you bring client relationships that develop here, you will be rewarded).

We're much more settled than when we launched in 2017, but we'd still want you to have that appetite to get your hands dirty in a start-up environment and you will need to have a flexible attitude to work (every day and client is different)

What you’ll be doing...

Working with some of the coolest businesses in London and beyond, you will operate as a Talent Manager personally for one client and oversee customer success for other clients that your team supports. This involves:

  • Managing, appraising, developing and motivating your team members
  • Taking the lead on client relationships. Advising, ensuring success, resolving conflict and ultimately securing long-term trust and contract renewals
  • Directly sourcing and filling tech roles
  • Talent pooling against future hires for our clients
  • Assessing existing recruitment processes, design and implementation of future processes
  • Providing expertise on subject areas such as employer brand, team structure, D&I and remuneration
  • ATS sourcing, implementation and management
