About us

Troi operates a hiring model that's different. Essentially it's recruitment, but not as we know it.

We're an early player in the 'embedded talent model' or 'in-house recruitment consultancy' world and we're looking to grow our team!

You'll have the opportunity to sit on-site with our clients to act as their Talent Acquisition Partner for as little or as often as they need. Our model combines the benefits of an internal recruiter coupled with the benefits of an agency behind the scenes. Think of it as an end-to-end recruitment service aimed at scaling businesses.

We're headquartered in Farringdon and London is a big market for us, however, we do have a global reach so there is an opportunity to travel (well, at some point!) and work internationally too.

We work predominantly with tech startups & scale-ups as well as larger tech businesses and have worked with the likes of SuperAwesome, Kpler, Unu, and Holland & Barrett amongst many others.

The role

We provide a full end-to-end process for our clients, making the hires is just part of what we do (though a very important part, obviously). You'll be expected to have rounded experience across the recruitment lifecycle - we'll teach you a lot and we've got a fantastic team to help out when needed too, we very much believe in a team approach.

What are we looking for...

  • You'll be well at ease with C-Level/Head Of stakeholder management/direct client contact - you'll have to push back sometimes, collaborate at others and offer solutions - saying no or just saying yes isn't going to cut it
  • You'll have either an internal recruitment or agency background, both would be great
  • Experience hiring across the 'Commercial World' - sales, marketing, customer success and operations from junior to Head of/VP Level
  • We'd love it if you have worked with high-growth businesses within the tech or media space
  • We're much more settled than when we launched in 2017, but we'd still want you to have that appetite to get your hands dirty in a start up environment
  • You will need to have a flexible attitude to work (every day is different)

What you’ll be doing...

  • Working in some of the coolest businesses in London (and throughout Europe) and being either their internal recruiter, part of a Troi 'squad' or augmenting our client's existing talent functions
  • Delivering against a hiring project, this may be a continuous hiring need or against a spike in recruitment activity
  • Assess existing recruitment process, and then design, implement and own this
  • You'll be the go-to expert within businesses around a number of subject areas important to a growth company, think diversity, inclusion, equality etc.
  • Direct sourcing and placement of roles across numerous disciplines (they'll be the team behind the scenes to help too!)
  • Talent pooling against future hires for our clients
  • ATS sourcing and management
  • Employer branding through social media, job adverts and other channels
  • Loads of other stuff related to getting great talent into great businesses
